Back to Normal Life...Or is That What I am Leaving Behind?
Today was my first day of being a full-time mom...again. Yesterday was officially my last day of work. I am glad to be done, even though I loved my job and especially the youth that I worked with. New City now has a full time youth director and hopefully he will be around for awhile. Otherwise, I may have to come out of retirement again! It will be interesting to see how this full-time mom thing goes. I started working part time when Jaorn was around 6 months old, so I have only been working for half of his life. But I feel like it will be different this time. Maybe it's because he is older and not as hard to take care of because he is able to entertain himself most of the time. So now I have to figure out my new life and how I will spend my time each day. Maybe I will actually get some housework done! Or maybe I will have more time to reconnect with friends. Or maybe I will take more naps! Or maybe Jaron and I will do more things outdoors (especially once he starts walking). Who knows what will happen, but I look forward to whatever it will be.
