Happy Birthday!

Today marks one year since the birth of Jaron Mosi Huffine. ONE YEAR! Man has time flown by! What a joy Jaron has been in our lives - I feel blessed that God chose me to be his mother. He has added so much to our lives and I rejoice in God's protection over Him thus far. I pray that Jaron will always be under His care and that God draws him to Himself and reigns in his life. The son of my pastor told me a few weeks ago, "I expect great things from that kid's life. I will be disappointed if he doesn't grow to be an incredible man." I told him that was a lot of pressure to have on a little baby! But as I thought about it, why not have that kind of expectation for my child? Why not expect great things from him? Not great in the eyes of the world, but great in the eyes of God and for His kingdom. If I trust in the all-powerful God, shouldn't I have faith that He could use my little boy to do amazing things for His glory? Shouldn't that be my prayer each day for my son - that God would grab a hold of his life and mold him into a vessel who desires with all of his heart to do the will of the Lord, therefore accomplishing awesome things for God's kingdom?

Happy birthday Jaron! We love you!

I sure am glad they get cuter with time!

Happy Birthday Jaron! Sorry we can't come to your party and that I didn't share very nicely the other day. We'll get it eventually.
