Mama's Little Helper
Jaron is at a stage in his life where he thinks that he needs to help me with everything that I do. I have realized that my one-on-one time with Jaron is limited so I have taken advantage of Jaron's desire to help around the house as a way of spending more time with him. So when Elias is taking a nap on his own (which isn't very often) Jaron and I use the time to tidy up around the house. Of course, jobs do not get done as quickly, and half the time I have to clean up after him cleaning up! But he enjoys it and I enjoy (most of the time) working alongside him. His favorite household chores are cleaning the toilet, sweeping and washing dishes. He just started washing dishes (I only let him "wash" the tuberware) yesterday and now I can't get him away from the sink. Oh well. I can't wait till he is actually old enough to REALLY help around the house!
Jaron takes a break from cleaning to dance to the music.
