The Funny Things Kids Say
So tonight we were all sitting in the living room and I made some kind of comment about how much the baby was moving. I didn't realize Jaron was paying any attention to me (he is really good at eavesdropping) until he said, "I want to eat the baby". This caught me off guard and didn't know what he was talking about, or if I had even heard him correctly, so I just said, "Uh, we don't eat babies." To which Jaron insisted, "But I want to eat the baby!" Ok, so I HAD heard him correctly, but still had no idea what he was talking about so I just said, "Why do you want to eat the baby?" Jaron replied, "Because I want the baby in MY tummy!" Oh boy! Thankfully, Jaron didn't ask anymore questions after I said that the baby was not in my tummy because I ate it. I am not ready to have THAT conversation for many years to come!!

i forgot kirk said you were pregnant. congrats. i'm 11 weeks along and it's been a rough one but hopefully the morning sickness will end soon. we'll be down in october for homecoming.

Hey Sarah! Congrats to you as well! I am sorry that you have been having such a rough time this go around. Hopefully once the 2nd trimester starts, things will get better. Maybe this is a sign that it is a boy?!
I noticed your father-in-law will be doing a concert at homecoming. Is that why you guys are coming down? Or is it your reunion year? Or are you just coming for the fun of it? Hope to see you guys while you are here!
