Is it time already??
I had a doctor's appointment today. The one where they do that glucose test and you have to drink that major sweet orange drink that everyone hates. Well, I actually didn't think it was that bad. Any of you that have worked in the innercity with kids(at least here in Chattanooga) or been to Urban Camp, know all about "Frozens", and I must say that this was probably less sweet than those! And I was at Famous Dave's Restaurant a couple of weeks ago and their lemonade was just as sweet as that glucose drink, so I don't see what the big deal is! Plus, I have a sweet tooth with this pregnancy, so it tasted a lot better this go around!
Anyways, my midwife asked if I have pre-registered yet and of course I have not. So she gave me a pre-registration form for the hospital that I want to use. I couldn't believe that it was actually time to do this already! Am I really that close to having this baby? She also said that after my next visit, I will go down to having appointments every 2 weeks. Really? But that doesn't happen until you are close to having your baby! And I am nowhere NEAR that point - or am I? People always say that your 2nd pregnancy goes faster than the first, and I must say that they are right. I still feel like I am at the beginning of all this. But I guess having another kid to distract you from just sitting around thinking about your pregnancy helps to keep your mind off of it and therefore makes the pregnancy go quicker. I am by no means complaining either! The faster the pregnancy the better! But still, I guess I need to at least start THINKING about some of the things involved in the whole delivery and childbirth thing. I have hardly even looked at any pregnancy books this time around, and I haven't even BEGUN to think about labor and breathing and contractions and all that fun stuff.
But I am only 27 weeks pregnant, so I have plenty of time! :)

Finally! Updated Pictures
It has been a LONG time since I have posted any pictures here. And it has been an even longer time since I have updated our family website with pictures. I choose to blame it on technical difficulties, even though it was really my own lack of motivation/ lack of time. So I am proud to say that our website is now updated with the most recent pictures and hopefully I will stay on top of it better. Below is just a taste of what you can find there.
Jaron plays in the "snow" for the first time. Don't laugh at us, those of you that live where it REALLY snows! I know this is not much, and that even people who live in other parts of Chattanooga got more than this, but we are just working with what we got!

My boy's got hops! Balls are Jaron's passion right now and along with the word "dog", is the only object words that he says clearly.
Jaron loves to be outside and since the weather has been so nice recently, we have been able to spend more time in the yard. Here he is trying to blow bubbles, but unfortunately the stick just ends up in his mouth!
I watched my brother Isaiah last week and Jaron had a blast playing with him. It was so nice to have a playmate for Jaron so that I could actually get things done around the house! I guess this is what it is like to have siblings!
